2004 National Specialty Show

Our show will be held at Better Canine Dog Training Center in Mundelein, Illinois.

Mundelein is a northern suburb of Chicago. For those of you who plan to fly in,we suggest you use Chicago's O'Hare Airport.

BCDT is located at 872 Tower Road, and is approximately 40 minutes from the airport. It has 2 indoor show rings and lots of parking space. It has hosted rare breed dog shows in the past, and is well equipped to handle our National Specialty Show.

ABOUT OUR JUDGE: Jurgen Sauer, of Germany has honored us by accepting our invitation to judge our dogues. Mr. Sauer is 47 years old, and has been a breeder for more than 25 years. He has been breeding Bullmastiffs for more than 15 years. He is the chief of judges in his German club. He is a specialist judge for the following breeds: Fila Brasileiro, Spanish Mastiff, Dogue De Bordeaux, Tosa Inu, Mastin de los Pironeos, Bullmastiff, and Mastino Napolotano. He has judged in Austria, Russia, Netherlands, Switerzerland, Italy, and Germany

The hotel has given us a very reasonalbe rate of $89 per night.We have 10 rooms blocked for the 16th, and 20 rooms for the 17th through the 19th. The deadline for making reservations is September 1, 2004. When making your reservations use the code USB, to get the special rate.

The maximum number of dogues the hotel will allow in each room is 3. The hotel will allow us to park motor home around the sides of the hotel. Hotel management has asked that we use the rear exits instead of the lobby for all comings and goings with the dogues. They will provide black plastic garbage bags to put under the crates and food & water dishes. Please make sure you pick up after your dogues.

SATURDAY EVENING DINNER Saturday night after the show, we will have a get - together dinner with the judge at the Olive Garden Restaurant, 701 N. Milwaukee, Vernon Hills, IL, which is about 5 minutes from the hotel. We will meet at approximately 7:30. If you plan on joining us for dinner, please let us know by attaching a note to your premium, so we can let the Olive Garden know approximately how many people will be there so we can all sit in the same area.
