RULES FOR OBTAINING A USBC CHAMPIONSHIP
(NOTE: FIC REGISTERED DOGUES WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR POINTS)

Requirements for obtaining a USBC Championship for all dogues
beginning to collect points after October 1, 2002:



  • Must have a minimum of 200 points

  • Must have earned 3 majors

  • Major is considered Best of Breed or Best of Opposite Sex with competition. Competition is defined as 3 or more dogs of the same sex 6 months or older. (The day the dog turns 6 months old, it is "over 6 months")

  • Must have shown and acquired points under at least three different FCI or AKC accredited judges

  • It is possible to obtain 1 major by earning 10 winners dog/bitch points. The other two Majors must be earned by winning Best of Breed or Best of Opposite with competition as defined above

  • Any group win, or best in show/event WITHOUT same sex breed competition in the breed class DOES NOT constitute a major win


The two majors must be achieved under 2 different FCI or accredited AKC judges, in two different shows.
