Summer Reign: (ADOPTED)
Taken into Rescue January, 2002.

Summer Reign is a DDB that never really came to me, but I was able to help with a placement long distance. See, miracles occur all over the country! Robin Koch was no longer able to keep Summer and we were lucky to find a wonderful new Dad for Summer. Ryen is the perfect match and you will see how happy Robin has been with this arrangement if you read the this letter.
Oso: (ADOPTED) and Cisco (in rescue)
Taken into Rescue January, 2002.

Tracy from Boxer Rescue really came through for me with these brothers! She pulled them out of the Chico Shelter, had Oso neutered and then delivered him to me for placement. Oso is a big boy! Weighing in at 84 pounds, he is only 16 weeks old. What a sweetie, and so lucky to have been adopted into a home where he has sibs……a 2 year old Great Dane sister named Snowball and an Aussie Shephard.
His brother Cisco (17 mos. old) is being fostered in the Bay Area by Kris and Tony. Cisco is lucky to be with two other DDB’s….Monet and Boogie. Cisco is happily playing while he waits for just the right family to come along. Here is an auto-dogue-bio:
I'm just a young buck looking for love. I'm fairly tall, dark auburn hair and I've been told handsome and have a wonderful personality. I love to swim and take long walks. I love to cuddle and get sung to . The park is one of my favorite places to be. I also enjoy yard work and riding in the car with the wind in my face. I like children. I adore female dogs and will cuddle with them and allow them to sleep on the bed with me. I'm also fit and healthy with no communicable diseases. I am also inexperienced so I would prefer an individual with experience to train me well. I will be a loving and loyal companion to the lucky person who will love me back. If interested, please get ahold of Stace at Rocken Cash DDBRescue and ask for Cisco.
Angus: (ADOPTED)
Taken into Rescue January, 2002.

Liberty Angus was an owner turn in. Although he has some things that might be counted against him such as a deformed foot, is a bit older, and had to have some tumors removed from his back, Liberty Angus has found a wonderful home in Arizona. He now has a Mom named Noel, a Dad named Lance, two human sibs named Tyler and Shelby as well as another DDB sister named Mudge. What a lucky boy….and he has never been happier..
Noble, Levi, and Mia: (ADOPTED)
Taken into Rescue January, 2002.

Mary Whipple runs a very busy household these days! During this year she has acquired not one, not two, but perhaps three DDB’s from Rescue. The first to grace her door was Noble. Noble has undergone two cruciate surgeries this year and Mary and Mike Whipple have created a wonderful home for him. And what good nursing! Mary was Noble’s constant companion all throughout the recovery.
Then, along came Levi! One look was all it took, and Mary was hooked…..again. He has now healed from entropian surgery, and is not yet two years old.
Then, two weeks ago, an owner turn- in named Mia came to call. Although she is being fostered at this time by Mary and Mike, she is a wonderful playmate for Levi. This gives Noble a chance to heal…..and perhaps a chance for Mary to catch her breath. Hats off to the Whipples!
Dawk and Daisy: (in rescue)
Taken into Rescue January, 2002.

Dawk and Daisy both came to me in terrible shape. These sisters are now up and running after eight months of surgeries and healing. After ten surgeries, the hole in Dawk’s shoulder has finally closed. She now enjoys going with Chaos to Three Dog Bakery where she is in charge of tasting the treats. Daisy had a number of corrective surgeries and is now happy and healthy and being our “wild child”. They are both real success stories.
Champion: (ADOPTED)
Taken into Rescue January, 2002.

Champion. He is a beautiful boy who has just found the perfect family. Lots of TLC and treats! Although he is not aggressive at all, the Champ is very scared of the world around him and needs that gentle coaxing we all need at times. We're happy he will have that now.
Xena: (ADOPTED)
Returned to Rescue August, 2002.

Xena has returned to our home to stay for good! She was adopted by a Washington family, but it just didn’t work out. Xena is the sweetest, goofiest baby but is not well. Not only is she completely blind now, but she has an auto immune disease and is in renal failure. Although the vets give her a short time to live, we will try to beat the odds. The one thing I know and that is she enjoys every minute of her day. Xena loves to play with Chaos and Booda, her pals.
Amber and Max: (ADOPTED)
Taken into Rescue January, 2002.

Recently two of our rescues have found permanent homes ON OPPOSITE SIDES OF THE United States. Amber, a beautiful girl that was dumped at a Los Angeles Shelter is going to be living in San Diego with his new friend Jeremy Craig. Max, a New Yorker through and through is now living with some friends of his previous owner and won’t have to move from the Big Apple!
Kiera: (ADOPTED)
Taken into Rescue January, 2002.

The first DDB to be rescued this year was Kiera. She has been placed in a wonderful family that already had a DDB..so, that means that Kiera now has a big brother to play with all the time. Her new parents, Don and Staci Anderson are terrific people. How lucky for me that he is a pharmacist, as he is so helpful with all the meds we constantly need in rescue.
