An Uncommon Legacy Foundation, Inc.
is a nonprofit foundation dedicated to enhancing the visibility, strength, and vitality of the Lesbian community. Legacy invests in our future by awarding scholarships to "out" students with leadership potential and awarding grants to fund projects and organizations that contribute to our community's health, education, and culture. Legacy is building an endowment to ensure permanent financial support for Lesbians. Legacy promotes philanthropy among women and demonstrates the growing power of Lesbian giving. Brother Help Thyself is a totally volunteer organization with no paid employees. It receives no federal, state, of city funding.
