Midlands based Public relations consultant with experience in business to
business and consumer campaigns as well as internal and corporate
communications projects.

Current projects include local media relations (press releases/photographs),
producing staff and customer newsletters (Design, print, writing copy,
arranging photographs/visuals etc.) and launching a trade media campaign

Current skills: Political, media and public relations. Speech and press

design and communications strategies.
Based in New Zealand, most of my work comes from offshore clients, part
of the reason being the exchange rate ($US1 / NZ50c) which means I offer
very competitive rates and the ability to turn a job round "overnight",
working while the rest of the world is asleep.
I've devised strategies for a political party (which went from 3% to 30%
in the polls and won the balance of power 3 years after it was formed)
and numerous corporates (such as the one which won a multi-million
dollar international contract against 28 competitors based on the
proposal I put together). I've also helped turn round small businesses
(especially media companies).

Assignments I'm looking for: Any freelance writing, editing, web design,
PR, speech / press release writing or political consultancy.

Relevant experience: 20 years as a journalist and editor of national
magazines and newspapers, and as a broadcaster, radio program director
and talk show host.
3 years as a political consultant. PR experience goes back over ten
years and covers clients as diverse as political parties and professional
wrestlers.
