I have been writing occasional travel articles for the Irish and British
industry for the last ten years. While my main job is as a sound archivist
I have found time to publish many travel, and some news articles, chiefly
on Iberia, Ireland and North and Eastern Europe. {Sunday Independent,
Sunday Press, Examiner - all Ireland} {The Scotsman, European, - UK}. I
have lived abroad for five years: in Madrid, London and The Hague and I
know these cities and their countries very well. I have wide ranging
interests: film, cooking, languages, peoples and politics, poetry, history,
science, betting, snooker and football and cycling amongst other things.
