The Sherman Tremolo System is the first floating tremolo system to be custom machined from tool steel and utilizes no cast or stamped parts. It's also the first double locking tremolo system without a locking nut. The system features new patented advances in tremolo technology resulting in superior tuning stability, responsiveness, playability, adjustability, wear resistance and longevity. The Sherman Tremolo System is the ultimate floating tremolo system.

Optimized Frictional Forces
Each string crosses the nut at the lowest possible angle to minimize friction between the strings and the nut.
The headstock and locking tuners are positioned so that each string has the same angle from the nut to each tuner, across the radius of the nut.
The nut is manufactured from a very tough, low friction, extremely wear-resistant material.
The bridge pivot points are stiletto sharp and are designed to mate with, and precisely pivot within, the V-shaped notches of the bridge studs.
Optimizing the frictional forces of the tremolo system provides superb pivoting smoothness, unparalleled responsiveness and contributes to the Sherman Tremolo System's exceptional pitch stability.

Superior Components
Virtually all components of the Sherman Tremolo System are milled using state-of-the-art machining methods.
The Sherman Tremolo System does not use cast or stamped components.
The bridge plate, saddles and string clamps are milled from high grade tool steel then hardened to provide unparalleled wear resistance and longevity.
