Computers in the Schools, Vol. 11, No. 2, 1994, p. 103-113
This study looked at attendees at the 1992 Georgia Educational Technology
Conference, to see the awareness of social studies teachers of CD-ROM and
on-line database technologies. The data show that even the technology-oriented
teachers and administrators were only moderately aware of the numerous on-line
and CD-ROM databases available for educational research and classroom instruction.
This was attributed to the low access that these
educators had to the technologies.
