Electronic books have become an important educational and training resource.
Their importance stems from the fact that they are able to provide many
pedagogic resources and instructional mechanisms that conventional books
are unable to offer. Because of their interactivity, portability, connectivity,
and dynamic behavior, books of this sort make excellent study aids both
for individual use and for small-group study either locally or at a distance.
