This article describes the Network Professional Association, which acts as a certifying agency (similar to the American Medical Association and the American Bar Association) to increase the standards of network professionals. In partnerships with colleges and industry, the NPA sponsors various educational projects designed to provide "hands-on" experiences to the students.
