The superintendent of the South Huntington Union Free School District
in Huntington Station, New York offers his views on what is needed to create
K-12 schools that will adequately prepare students for employment in the
21st Century. He describes how specific technology components from CCC
are helping his district's students meet such goals. Particular focus is
given in the article to funding strategies and how the community's support
was enlisted. For instance, district schools are open to the public so
they can use the new computers for Internet access and more.
