This article describes the Foundations of Science course at community High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan, which was developed through a unique partnership between the University of Michigan and Ann Arbor Public Schools in an effort to allow all students to develop a deep understanding of science and technology. The project has been ongoing for three years, and considerable progress in student participation has been shown.
