Pulleys, Planes, and Student Performance

This article describes the work over the past 5 years in the St. Charles, Illinois Community Unit School District 303 in written and refined hands-on science units for elementary classrooms. The key result was that students need several ways to demonstrate their learning. Four assessments methods are shown.
