While anecdotal evidence abounds, hard data on the effectiveness of new
technology tools is still rare. These two authors studied if, and how, student
behaviors changed as a result of being in electronic discussion groups.
One interesting finding: even students who claimed to "not like"
participating, reported that their behavior had changed in some ways.
