Sustaining Two-Way Interaction and Communication in Distance Learning

The authors explain how their institution (Grambling State University) implemented a viewer response system to encourage interaction between students and instructors in distance learning programs. Instructors reported that the system, which relies on wired keypads, provided a better way to check students' understanding of the material covered.
