Description:

SuccessMaker reading and language arts courses are presented in a multimedia environment which motivates students to enjoy reading while building essential skills. Activities focus on vocabulary, comprehension, writing, study skills, and strategies. Teachers can choose from many options to customize instruction, and online student portfolios enable teachers to assess students' progress.

The software's audio builds listening comprehension, animation dramatizes the stories, and storyteller mode enables students to follow a story at their own pace. Stories can also be replayed whenever the student wants.

CCC reading courses include Discover English, First Adventures Bookshelf, Reading Adventures, and Reading Investigations. Additional CCC reading courses are: Reading Readiness, Initial Reading, Spelling Skills, Reader's Workshop, Language Arts Strands, Writer's Express, Keyboard Skills, Practical Reading Skills, Writing: Process and Skills, Fundamentals of English, and Critical Reading Skills.
