This workshop covers system and software design concepts and practices within the field important to both the corporate analyst and the technical practitioner. Architectural and detailed design are included, for both batch and real-time systems. Design considerations for structured and object-oriented systems are covered. Implementation issues that affect the design, including error handling, performance, and inter-process communication, are presented. The relationships between requirements, analysis, and design are discussed. In addition to design intended to code software programs, this workshop includes forms/reports design and database design.
This workshop is intended for systems engineers, software engineers, programmers, analysts, and staff members involved in system and software design.
