President's Council
IWHC is building a network of dedicated allies --- a President's Council --- to provide moral, political, and financial support. Members of the President's Council are invited to participate in discussions with international specialists, colleagues from other countries, and the IWHC Board of Directors to keep current on international issues affecting women's health and rights. Council members provide insight, advice, and feedback to keep us well-informed and connected to public opinion in the United States. They consult with the media and elected officials to ensure that in the future U.S. foreign policy and assistance address the realities of women's health and human rights. Individuals who donate $1000 or more are automatically welcomed into the President's Council. Councils have been established in New York, Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles. Councils are in formation in Chicago and Atlanta.
