2. James T.² Lawhorn (Lucas Thompason¹) (#91) was born in Amherst County, Virginia October 12, 1877. James died November 18, 1954 at 77 years of age. His body was interred in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia, Mt. Horeb Cemetery.

He married Annie Eliza Whitten December 20, 1900. (Annie Eliza Whitten is #80.) Annie was born in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia February 21, 1877. Annie was the daughter of Augustus Devereaux (Dev) Whitten and Mary Jane Clements. Annie died June 15, 1931 at 54 years of age. Her body was interred in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia, Mt. Horeb Cemetery.

James T. Lawhorn and Annie Eliza Whitten had the following children:

3 i. Ruby Meyers³ Laughorne (#94) was born July 25, 1902. She married Love Henry Coleman in Amherst County, Virginia, February 27, 1924. (Love Henry Coleman is #101.) Love was born June 23, 1905. Love is the son of Richard Coleman and Alice Napier. (See Love Henry Coleman for the continuation of this line.)

4 ii. Caskie W. Lawhorn (#95) was born April 19, 1904. He married Virginia Burks June 1934. (Virginia Burks is #175.)

+ 5 iii. Rader Nathan Laughorne was born October 18, 1905.

+ 6 iv. Clarence Earlie Laughorne was born March 19, 1907.

7 v. Harry Tucker Laughorne (#98) was born September 12, 1908. He married Alice Jones May 30, 1930. (Alice Jones is #203.)

8 vi. Mary Jesse Laughorne (#99) was born May 15, 1910. She married Charles H. Clements November 11, 1930. (Charles H. Clements is #204.)

+ 9 vii. James Murray Lawhorn was born March 27, 1912.
