COMBINATION LOCK TECHNOLOGY III

Description: An advanced level one day class designed to familiarize the lock technician with proper operating, service, and trouble-shooting techniques for combination locks commonly found on vaults and high security safes. This is a golden opportunity to gain hands-on experience with these advanced safe locks. It is strongly recommended that the student attend CLT I and II before taking this class.

Locks Covered: Sargent & Greenleaf 6731 (4 wheel); S&G 6400 and 6500 vault locks.

Materials: All hand-tools, locks, change keys, and other materials necessary to this program are supplied by MBA. Pertinent technical handouts will be made available for the student to take back to the job. Participants need only bring a willingness to learn.

The Program: The S&G 6731 four wheel lock: Identification; dialing procedure; changing procedure; disassembling, service, and reassembling; handing procedure. S&G 6400 and 6500 vault locks: Identification; dialing procedure; changing procedure; disassembling, service, and reassembling; handing procedure; indirect drive features. Regular, Zero, and LOBC changes will also be covered.

Price: $175 per seat. Class strictly limited to twelve participants.
