TIME LOCKS

Description: It might take years to really master time locks, but I have taught scores of people to be comfortable with the basics in only one day! This very same program has been taught numerous times at SafeTech and even to train factory technicians at Tann Canada. You will not be a watchmaker at the end of the day but you will be comfortable correcting overwinds, servicing and synchronizing cases, and working with common DATs.

Who Should Attend: All locksmiths and safe technicians who want to improve their earning potential.

Materials: All hand-tools, time locks, and other materials necessary to this program are supplied by MBA. Pertinent technical handouts will be made available for the student to take back to the job. Participants need not bring anything but a willingness to learn.

The Program:

Basic time lock operating principles and terminology. S&G Timebination, Legault CS401 delay action time locks. S&G two and three movement time locks: winding procedures, movement removal and inspection, overwind correction, resettable and snap-action movements, synchronization, cleaning principles and calibration. Each participant will gain practical and valuable hands-on experience.

Program Hours: 9am to 5pm Sunday. There will be a one hour break between Noon and 1pm.
