Role of Veterans

Each mission sent to Viet Nam includes veterans of the Viet Nam War. Returning to Viet Nam on a mission of healing and reconciliation, our missions help them to come to terms with their personal war time experiences in a reconciling way. In effect, they return to places where they were once stationed, but this time, in a life affirming role. As one veteran put it, "It helped me to think of Viet Nam as a country, not a war."
