Dear Mr Beyer,
We have found the following records concerning the Colcrofts who are buried
in our graveyard (although we will not be held responsible for any
inaccuracies, but this information is correct to the best of our belief)
There is a grave owned by William Colcroft of Stannigley purchased in Jan.
1891, it is plot 104B in Section 2 of the graveyard. The following people
are recorded as having been buried in the plot:
Sarah Alice Colcroft - age & date of burial unknown
William Colcroft - died aged 77 yrs 26th May 1916
Sarah Ann Colcroft - died aged 82 years 13th March 1923
There is also a plot numbered 98 in section 5 of the graveyard purchased by
Elizabeth Colcroft of 3 West Grove Street, Stanningley.
The only burial recorded in this grave is of:
George William Colcroft who died aged 29 years; date of burial 22nd November
1915.
I hope that this information will be of use.
Yours
Webmaster, Bramley Baptist Church
