Rapid-Load is a 5X sample loading dye that is added to the PCR* mix BEFORE amplification. The presence of Rapid-Load in the PCR mix does not interfere with the performance of the overall reaction. After the PCR is done, your PCR samples can be directly loaded on an agarose gel. It is not necessary to add standard DNA loading dye to your samples. Eliminate an extra pipetting step!

Rapid-Load can be used in PCR amplifications containing standard plasmid DNA, genomic DNA or bacterial colonies. It is also ideal for use with multiple samples such as performing 96-well PCR.

Rapid-Load is RED in color making it easy to load your samples and follow them in the gel. Rapid-Load migrates at 1.4 kb on a 1% agarose gel run with 1XTAE.
