Technical Support

Job Description:
Provide in-house helpdesk support and troubleshoot customer's computers.
Perform onsite presale network inspection/evaluation.
Design, setup, and maintain customer's onsite network system(s).
Telephone support for customer's computer systems including desktops, workstations,
servers, and notebooks.
Provide Technical training to company's service personnel and customers.
Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN products.

Requirements:
B.S. Degree or equivalent
Working knowledge with many of the following:
Operating Systems:
MS-DOS (all versions), Windows (all versions), Linux (Redhat), FreeBSD,
Solaris (7, 8 SPARC versions) and Novell Netware (all versions).
Applications:
Microsoft Office (all versions), Internet Explorer, Netscape, AOL,StarOffice,
and Easy CD Creator (all versions).
Hardware:
IBM PC Compatible systems and components, Sun and Sun compatible systems and
networking products (routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs).
Networking:
Topologies, protocols, and medias.
Strong inter-personal communication and problem solving skills, have a positive attitude,
  be punctual and self-motivated.
