Ford’s Colony is the first course in Virginia to have the Pro Link GPS (Global Positioning System) system with full color monitor on every cart. Using state of the art satellite technology, players can view their position and yardage to the pin from any where on the course. The system features a “pro-tip” on each hole suggesting how the pro would play the hole. In addition, it offers two-way communication between the golf cart and the pro shop, in case someone needs to get in touch with the golfer. The full color screen of each hole also displays specific green features including the exact pin location and the slopes found on the green.
