Dual cup design minimizes resonances in the system and gives a smoother attenuation over the whole frequency range, improving the speech intelligibility.

Unique minimization of the physical sound transmission from the cylindrical part of the cup, as a result of the new PELTOR developed design.

The cups have different resonances, and they're separated by a compressed layer of special foam material. This absorbs energy in the same way as a shock absorber thus reducing the sound transmitted from the shell of the cup.

The space between the cups is acoustically coupled to the space between the ear and the cup. This means that the hearing protector performs like a cup with the volume of the outer shell providing optimal low-frequency attenuation.
