Elvex Com-55 Electronic Ear Muffs are designed to improve voice communications in noisy environments. Since only the speech frequencies are processed and potentially amplified as much as 12dB, the speech to noise ratio is improved and consequently the understanding of speech in many noisy environments is improved. Work areas dominated by low or high frequencies will benefit the most from the noise filtering technology.

• Close range communication (6-12 feet) in industrial environments.
• Impact noise environments such as those created by fire arms, bolt and rivet guns, punch presses, pile drivers and drop forges.
