These are books that we have for the most part read and enjoyed. They were obtained by us through special bulk purchases or as remainders. They are all in very good to fine condition unless otherwise noted. Orders for these books may be combined with other Tachyon titles or ordered separately. Postage is $2.00 per book for the two books with no charge thereafter. For first class priority mail add an additional $1.20. All UPS shipments are $6.00.

Bloodchild by Octavia Butler

Short collection by one of the few black women to write science fiction. Includes all of Butler's published short fiction, and two essays. In addition to "Bloodchild" and "Speech Sounds," which both won the Hugo Award, it includes the lesser known but equally poignant "The Evening and the Morning and the Night." Time on My Hands by Peter Delacorte

A fun read. Time travel novel in which a writer travels back in time to the Hollywood of the late 1930s to stop Ronald Reagan from becoming president and thus making the world a nicer place to live in. He attempts to divert Reagan from his political career by transforming him into a successful actor. This book, published as a mainstream novel, was one of the best books we read in 1997.
