Produced by Queen & Mack.

Notes: When Queen played to the massive Live Aid crowd in 1985, this is the album they were touring in support of. The Live Aid version of Is This The World We Created struck the crowd dumb, live and in the television audience. The down side is that this album has Radio GaGa on it, one of Queen's worst songs ever. The only thing they've ever done that was worse is Side 1 of Hot Space. Of course, the video, based on the old movie Metropolis, was very cool in spite of the song.

Tear It Up & Hammer To Fall are full-on hard rocking songs, and May's playing doesn't get much better. The majority of the album is mid-tempo catchy songs like I Want To Break Free and Just Keep Passing the Open Windows.

The follow-up to The Works, The Miracle, shows where the songs from The Works were going; the two albums are remarkably similar stylistically and musically.
