24" Ole' Samuel "A True American Patriot"

Ole Samuel is made of rusty gold distressed long and curly mohair.

Soft stuffed with polyfill and pellets for added weight. Long arms and

large feet for a more traditional look. Black glass eyes and waxed

black pearl cotton stitched nose. Large growler for a deep voice.

Highlighted smudged painted features - around eyes, ears and down snout.

Ole' Samuel's chest is elaborately decorated in a patriotic theme of bar ribbons,

Pinbacks, buttons, stars and stripes, flags and badges….many vintage or handmade

by the bear artist. Most notable are the vintage "Good Conduct Medal",

Flag pinback and an elaborately designed handmade badge featuring a photo of

Teddy Roosevelt on a stars and stripes ribbon, with gold foil wings, a tiny silk flag,

vintage metallic trims, a large brass teddy bear charm, small bell and gold tassel
