"Vogue" (left) & "Vanity"

24" Vogue and Vanity are the very height of haute couture in their black gowns with matching hats and feather boas.  Based on the high-fashion

bears originally created for

"Teddy Bearzaar" -- the delightful

parody of the leading fashion

magazine, these beauties have long

necks, ultra slim bodies, and lowered

eyelids.  Their brocaded and

bejeweled gowns are set off with

sparkling faux diamond jewelry and

lace gloves.  This is Chanel's

basic black tradition for the fashion

conscious teddy bear model.

Vogue's gown is a classic brocade

with jet bead trim and her hat is  a

Juliet cap trimmed with jet beads and

black silk flowers.

Vanity's gown is sparkle embellished

velvet with a matching fabric peaked

hat trimmed with a faux diamond pin.

She also has a black feather boa

(not shown).

Both bears have the bent elbow right arm that you can see on Vanity.
