Tiana, Garden of Dragonflies A handcrafted cedar wood platform is the base that holds a natural Manzanita root surrounded by a garden of orchids, tropical flowers and three glistening dragonflies. In the midst of this little form of paradise sits Tiana, a mohair bear dressed in shades of leaf green, baby pink and deep rose. Her dress is made of many petals of sheer chiffon and her blouse is of the same fabric. Her tiny waist is accented by the floral trimmed laced "corset" of sheer green chiffon backed with a silky lining of the same color. Tiana is created in two types of mohair; one is very long which has been curled for her head and the other is a matching color in a shorter version for her body. Her paw and foot pads are ultra suede and she is fully jointed as well as having flexible arms. Her shoes are made of silk flower petals. The artist has created a new method for her fairy wings using fabric, a special new material, wire and glitter and Tiana's wings are very original and look realistic. The veining is a light leaf green with the outer edge accented in pink. They are glittered overall giving her a true fairy appearance. Limited Edition of 3 |
