    • drag desk top printer to trash
      open up hard drive
      open up system folder
      open up preferences folder
      open up the printing prefs folder
      trash laser writer 8 prefs
      open the parsed ppd folder
      trash the hp LaserJet 6MP
      close up windows
      go to chooser
      click once on laser writer 8
      highlight
      hit create
      sets up new desktop printer
      close chooser
    • MESSAGE: The application "Desktop Print Monitor" has crashed. Unmapped memory exception.
    • MESSAGE: The file "Desktop Printer Spooler" in the desktop printer HP Laser Jet 6P will be moved to the desktop because is is not a print file.
      Also look in the control panel under apple talk to see if it is connected to Printer Port. Some times the cord gets pulled out in the rear side of the printer.

HP LaserJet 6MP Printer

 

    • To bypass the Spooler
    • In the print pop-up window @ General
    • Select Background Printing
    • Print In: Select Foreground (no spool file) radion buttton
    • Hit print

APPLE COMMANDS

 

    • screen clip command shift 3

 

    • To add or delete alias from apple menu go into system folder

 

    • To Print window Go to Finder > File > Print Window
