Echocardiography: We provide a full complement of non-invasive echocardiography services. Many of these procedures including 2-Dimensional and Doppler Echocardiography and Stress Echocardiography.

We now perform Echo and stress echo at each of our primary office locations in addition to High Tech Medical P ark in Palos Heights.

We also perform Transesophageal Echocardiography. This procedure involves passing a small echo probe through the mouth to allow visualization of the cardiac structures from within the esophagus. This procedure is commonly performed before electrical cardioversion to rule out blood clots within the heart, for further evaulation of valve disease and congential heart disease, and to rule out heart infections. It is also quite useful for evaulating patients with suspected aortic dissections or aneurysms and for imaging the heart and aorta for other structural abnormalities.
