July, 1999: Recruitment of Drs. Levin and Park

October, 1999: We were the first group to perform Aortic Valvuloplasty at LaGrange Hospital and Weiss Memorial Hospital

January, 2000: Recruitment of Dr. Gonzalez; Rounding begins at Christ Hospital. Board Certification for Interventional Cardiology.
February, 2000: In office nuclear stress testing at the LaGrange Office.

April, 2000: Movement of our Orland Park office to Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn
May, 2000: Dr. Follman is Vice-Chair of Medicine at Hinsdale Hospital
Summer, 2000: Diagnostic Imaging Center at LaGrange Office
October, 2000:Dr. Follman has recently been named Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Hinsdale Hospital. Dr. Hines is Director the the Cath Lab at LaGrange Hospital. Drs. Levin and Cohen now have privileges at The University of Illinois at Chicago where they recently successfully completed a complex procedure for aorto-iliac disease
November, 2000: Begin non-invasive testing at High Tech Medical Park
January, 2001: Drs. Herrera and Stecy join the practice and expansion into Illinois Masonic Hospital
May, 2001: West Suburban Cardiologists congratulates Peter Stecy, M.D., on chairing the Fourth Annual Spring Symposium cosponsored by the Illinois Chapter of the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association Midwest Affiliate. "Cardiology Update 2001" was presented before a large audience on May 16, 2000 in Chicago. Featured speakers included Spencer King, M.D., past President of the American College of Cardiology, who spoke about the current status of vascular brachytherapy; Neil Stone, M.D, a member of the National Cholesterol Education Program writing committee, who discussed the just-released updated guidelines for lipid management; and Natesa Pandian, M.D., Director of the Echocardiography Laboratory at Tufts-New England Medical Center, who discussed the role of echocardiography in the evaluation of stroke and TIA. The talks were provocative and informative.
Summer 2002: Drs. Ajay Baddi and Desiree Dizadji have joined our practice.
Summer 2002: Dr. Saltiel has become Director of the Cath Labs at Hinsdale and LaGrange Hospitals.
Summer 2002: Sharon Domurat has become our LaGrange Office Manager
Fall 2002: Our Ashland office is now up and running
Fall 2002: Dr. Levin was named Director of the CCU at Christ Medical Center.
Fall 2002: Dr. Cohen is Chief of Cardiology and Director of the Cath lab at Weiss Hospital
Winter 2002: Drs. Cohen, Gonzalez, Herrera, and Stecy are on staff at Swedish Hospital
Spring 2004: WSC has purchased a 64 slice CT scanner capable of full body CT angiography.
