Since 1920, The Art Directors Club has been issuing a "call for entries", judging more than 14,000 annual submissions from the advertising, graphic design and communications industries, awarding medals and presenting winning works in its renowned international book and traveling exhibition. Actor/artist, Martin Mull will present Gold and Silver Medals and Distinctive Merit awards on June 5th, 1996 at Chelsea Piers in New York.
Over 1,000 full-color examples of the best national and international work of the year in print and television advertising, graphic design, packaging, publication design, photography, illustration and new media are presented in this annual hard cover volume. (Also available on VHS and CD-Rom.) Every winning entry is reproduced with complete credits. Gold and Silver Medalists receive a full page or a spread.
Every Gold and Silver Medalist and Distinctive Merit award-winner will be exhibited at the ADC Gallery throughout the month of June and will travel to Seoul, Korea for the IAA Ad Congress. A duplicate exhibition will continue to tour throughout North and South America, Europe and Asia.
