Background
Bill Puglia began the Rat vs. Snake project around 1992 as an exercise of annoyance
with which to probe the inner thoughts and feelings of his fellow humans,
when he was bored. Since then, Bill has had the opportunity to present the scenario to
hordes of people ranging from professors at MIT to Czech cab drivers in Prague (a
friend of his had the
pleasure of translating his unusally long buildup to Czech and relating it
to our unsuspecting cabbie.) The results thus far, albeit undocumented
until now (1/19/95), have been fairly even with a slight advantage being given to the
Snake, which only fuels the fires for Bill, who is ardently Pro-Rat.
