- Specific assignments include installation of a NOC
to:
- Provide national surveillance and control of network traffic,
network switching and transmission;
- Provide total monitoring of the health of the network;
- Maximize call completions; and
- Characterize and evaluate network service levels.

- Procurement management services for the construction and
engineering of the OSP facilities, including:
- prequalification of contractors;
- cost estimation of contractor's bids; and
- technical and commercial evaluations of the bids and recommendation
to the Owner.

- Construction management services, including enforcement of
technical compliance with specifications and monitoring of all
OSP construction activities. Installation of a 266,000 line of
DSS to:
- Expand the existing network;
- Reduce the waiting lists for the service; and
- Replace obsolete switching equipment in Cairo and Alexandria.
