In Memoriam

FMCS lost a good friend in July with the passing of Bill Weier. Bill joined FMCS in October 1975 and retired January 1, 1996. Bill was assigned to the St. Louis office and served as District Director and prior to that position was the Preventive Mediation Coordinator.

Bill had expressed his excitement about attending the agency's 50th Anniversary Symposium to several of his former FMCS colleagues. In his memory, mediators and staff wore black ribbons at the Symposium and the FMCS family joined in moment of silence at the National Professional Development Seminar to remember Bill.
