We conduct in-depth personal interviews, verify state licensing, keep current certificates of liability insurance and workers' compensation information on file, contact business and customer references, check local reporting agencies for problems or complaints, and document their ongoing track records.

Consumers are never charged for using this service.

We do not charge the contractor a commission or signing fee. The Home Improvement and Repair Referral Line is an independent source for consumers. As such, we have absolutely no interest in any contract between the homeowner and contractor. Qualified companies that meet the screening requirements pay a small monthly maintenance fee to participate.
