This article describes what is needed to incorporate telecomputing tools into existing curricula. The telecomputing teacher must act as in instructional designer, choosing from a variety of structures (e.g., direct instruction, synectics, inquiry, class discussion, or cooperative learning). Student interaction in telecomputing is discussed as interpersonal exchanges, information collections, and problem-solving projects.
