Designing an Electronic Classroom for Large College Courses

Report describing the University of Mississippi's School of Business construction of a state-of-the-art electronic classroom for large numbers of students. The room is designed as a regular classroom rather than a computer lab. The general structure is concentric semicircles with a teacher's station at the front, containing 54 486SX computers and one 486DX2 computer, connected by an Ethernet local area network to a file server. Internet access is also provided.
