It has often been mentioned that while the use of information technology
initially involves the porting of current materials to new environments,
(e.g., photographic slides to presentation software), the real impact will
begin when it alters the curriculum itself. This article explores three
such transitions which serve as good examples of the impact of technology
on the curriculum. The three transition subjects are "Image Databases
and the Teaching of Aesthetics and Art History", "Multimedia Case
Studies in Applied Ethics", and "Simulation Models in Conflict
Resolution."
