The growth of multimedia and Web technologies presents us with new opportunities
to discover solutions to problems that previously tended to be localized.
Through the use of projects like I'M Reading, technology can provide
the opportunity for children, adolescents, and literacy-challenged adults
nationally to have the opportunity of learning how to read in alternative
learning environments.
