Distance Learning Complements a Pre-Service Mathematics Education Model

Professional development is a natural fit for distance learning technology. The author describes, in detail, a project done in spring of 1995 in which inservice and pre-service training for high school math teachers was conducted via two-way videoconferencing. There were two distinct strategies implemented, both of which were successful.
