The pieces -- vases, bottles, teapots, dishes, etc. -- researched from private collections, museums, and my own small collection, are arranged in a formal garden setting. The history of the pieces researched are on each block. The light to midtone yellow background is randomly pieced. The appliques are all in blue or blue and white fabrics. This is a beautiful way to use blue batiks and your favorite blue fabrics. Size: 57.5" x 58" We offer each realisticly designed quilt as a complete set of blocks on this website but if you already have some of the blocks to make one of these quilts and you can't find the rest of the patterns call 1-610-469-0891 or email us and we will be happy to help you finish your set. |

The Blue Collection and Country Journal quilts are featured in beautiful 5" by 7" note cards with envelopes. Two full-size and two close-up pictures of the quilts, four designs in all.
