EUGENIA COLLIER


Biography

Eugenia Collier, a native of Baltimore, is a writer and critic. She taught English at colleges and universities in the Baltimore-Washington area until her retirement in 1996. She has published scholarly and critical articles as well as stories, personal essays, and poems in numerous periodicals. With Richard A. Long, she co-edited an anthology, Afro-American Writing. Her stories are collected in Breeder and Other Stories. Her work is motivated by her love for African American literature, drama, and culture.
