The comfort level from this chair was developed based on the suspension construction technique. That is as opposed to taking a solid surface, and adding foam to make it feel better. The seat and back units are actually welded steel frames, with flexible woven plastic belts. The foam is then applied over this frame which allows for a certain amount of give, thus eliminating the bottoming out effect of other seating products. Whenever more than one person is using a chair, each user must be able to easily adjust the chair to meet his or her comfort level. The Model SX-HCEG features seat-height & tilt and back-height & tilt adjustments, that function separately for optimum individual settings. Additionally, this model has fully adjustable arms, adjusting in both height and width. Removable upholstery covers are a real benefit when the chair is being used under these intense conditions. Both the seat and back covers can be unzipped and removed from the chair for dry cleaning or replacement. This feature adds years to the useful life and appearance of the chair.
