Produced by Queen.
Recorded on tour in Europe between January and March 1979.

Notes: THE ultimate Queen live album. This is Queen at the height of their popularity, just after Jazz was released. They are tight, musically together, and know how to work the crowd.

Compared to the other two live collections (Live Magic and Live at Wembley '86), Queen is a bit more on edge. It is obvious, on Killers, that they are still relative newcomers to the stage.

The medley of songs on Side 1 (Record 1)/Disc 1 comes out of Death on Two Legs, includes Killer Queen, Bicycle Race, and I'm in Love with My Car, and then deftly segues into Get Down, Make Love -- very spacey & psychedelic in this setting. Also very interesting is the complete remake of We Will Rock You (this is the version my band covers) and the interpretation of Sheer Heart Attack.
